About me

I am from Sweden, and recently settled in the State College area, Pennsylvania, USA.

Watercolor painting has been a hobby of mine for many years.

My education in watercolorpainting was mainly recieved at the Gerlesborg Art school/ Sweden.

I have also attended a wide variety of shorter workshops.

In Sweden, I have participated in several Juried Art shows as well as Solo and Group exhibitions.

In my art, I try to express a feeling or a mood of the object more than an exact picture.

Regarding knitting, it has been a hobby of mine for many years. I am self taught and influenced by patterns from the Brittish Islands and Scandinavia, especially Norway. The Norwegian style has always been appealing to me.
In my knitting, I use wool, alpaca, and linen in creating elegant designs of wrist warmers, mittens, and scarves.
